Painted Wooden Shapes Gallery

Every now and again it's nice to do something crafty that is completely different from sewing. This is how I discovered my love of painting wooden shapes and turning blank wood and MDF shapes into pretty home decor accessories. Previously I have used Annie Sloan chalk paint to cover the shapes as it leaves a lovely finish but I might have a play with some new ideas for this year.

Take a look below at some of the things I have crafted previously and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to some new ideas for 2019!

From Left to Right:  1. Bird Houses 2. Fairy Doors (these are always very popular and will definitely be back for 2019) 3. Family Trees 4. Camper Vans

From Left to Right:  1. Pretty Tulips 2. Pixie Houses 3. Coasters 4. Butterflies

Initials are always popular as are words and plaques that can then by their very nature be personalised and make a really lovely gift or addition to your room decor.

Popular words / plaques that are asked for include Love, Home, Mum, Dad, Best Teacher, Gone Fishing, Welcome, Nan, To the Moon & Back and many many more!
